OVERVIEW

Dr. Michal (Micki) Roll is an experienced healthcare and business development professional, dedicated to advancing translational research.


Micki has vast experience in clinical trial infrastructure development, both establishing and advancing the R&D departments for the leading Israeli hospitals, Tel Aviv Sourasky (Ichilov) Medical Center (TASMC) and Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO).


Micki is regarded as an expert in the field of technology transfer. She has overseen the creation of many patents and signed hundreds of licensing and research agreements for TASMC with international companies, a number of which were successfully commercialised and are already generating revenues.


Micki is a member of the 8400 Network of leaders in the Israeli health-tech ecosystem.

Micki is consultant to the Ministry of Health on the project "innovation in regulation".


Micki is the former Deputy Director General of R&D at TASMC and had previously served as the Director of the Research Department at Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO). She holds a Ph.D in Medical Sciences with a Post Doctorate in Neurobiology and MBA from Leicester University UK


Micki is an accomplished lecturer. She taught a course on Ethics and Regulations in clinical research, MBA Biomed of Hebrew University,( 2017-2020). Was the director of the SPARK-Wis program for translational research , led by Yeda R&D co. of the Weizmann Institute or Science (2018-2020). Lecturer of a course on entrepreneurship and innovation-in healthcare, MBA, Coller School of management, TAU (2020-). Initiated, co - directing and teaching in a new MSc program of Regulatory Science " in the Faculty of Medicine TAU.


Micki is a keen entrepreneur, taking a great interest in scientific projects that can be translated into medical applications and enjoys assisting in their development into clinical use. Currently, she is on the advisory boards of several health tech companies and a mentor in the Dan Launchpad program of Coller, TAU
